Now that Christmas has passed I am already looking ahead to Valentine's day. I started creating some drawings to customize (the cassette tape), print into cards for your loved ones or just buy as a print to hang. I am sure I will be creating more soon, but here is a peek at some items that will soon be up in the etsy shop.

Meet drawdaisies

I am still trying to figure out the direction of my blog, but something I always find important on blogs that I follow is figuring out who the person is behind the screen. 

I am Debbie, a mom, art teacher and drawdaisies creator!  

I am a mom to two adorable kiddos. H is 7 months and M is 3.  Both spring babies, and both keep me busy!  

I am an art teacher--currently in my 10th year of teaching!  I have been teaching 7th an 8th graders for my entire career---full of ups and downs, but I wouldn't change it :-)

I am also the creator of drawdaisies.  An online shop my loving and supporting husband encouraged me to start.  The name comes from my last name (WARD--draw backwards), and my favorite flower (and wedding flower) the daisy. 

This experience is  a work in progress, but my goal is to create a shop and space on the web that reflects my style and creativity.  My husband keeps telling me to be confident and that others will love what I make.  I hope he is right!  But in the mean time, I will keep creating-keep blogging and keep doing what I love!
